Nayo Carter-Gray, CEO of 1st Step Accounting, always wanted her firm to run efficiently and with technology at the core. So, when it became time in 2012 to choose a cloud-based solution that fit her motto of "making accounting a little less taxing,” ShareFile was the choice.

When it comes time for requesting documents from clients, Nayo needed the client collection process and employee organization process to be simple, user-friendly, and duplicable. With ShareFile, this was possible. Clients can easily upload documents to the firm from the website and once uploaded, the team seamlessly organizes by client.

Visiting ShareFile at AICPA Engage

In June of 2023, Nayo came by ShareFile’s booth at AICPA Engage to talk to us about her ShareFile experience. During her stop, she was able to see some new ShareFile functionality, including Engagements. “I was super happy to see Engagements coming to life.” said Nayo. “It’s exciting. It can be that one-stop shop where my clients can know this is where we can communicate back and forth.”
